Romantic New England Wedding | Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill Estate | Carolyn + Wojciech

I was so excited when Carolyn reached out to me about photographing her wedding. We met almost a decade ago when I photographed her sister Kate's wedding at the Providence Public Library, and I was flattered that she remembered me and kept me in mind for so long! She and her charming groom Wojciech were married at the stunningly gorgeous Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill Estate in Middletown, Connecticut on a perfect late summer day.

Carolyn's sassy niece stole the show as the "flower princess" (NOT the flower girl, get it straight please).

The views from the balcony at Wadsworth are just gorgeous. Carolyn took a moment to herself to breathe and peek at the flurry of activity downstairs as the team from Wildflower Events made sure that every detail was perfect.

Wojciech had such a sweet reaction to Carolyn at their first look. So many happy tears! We love a groom who wears his heart on his sleeve.

My very favorite thing about working at the Wadsworth Manor is that all of the reception events - toasts, dances, cocktails- take place on the patio outside. The late afternoon light was absolutely beautiful.

After dinner, everyone came back out to the patio for dancing under the fairy lights. I can't imagine a more romantic setting than this.

After all the reception formalities were done, Carolyn swapped out her wedding dress for a sequined party dress and an awesome custom jean jacket with her new married name. Love it!
