Arnold Arboretum Elopement | Boston, MA | Matthew + Frederick

There's just something so special about a tiny wedding. Saying your vows surrounded by your very closest people makes for a personal and intimate ceremony that's really beautiful. Don't get me wrong, I love a big gigantic party wedding too (let's be real, I love all the weddings, it's why I do what I do).

Matthew and Fred gathered with their closest friends and family on a rainy October morning at the Arnold Arboretum in Boston for their wedding ceremony. The weather was chilly but there were nothing but warm hugs and joyful smiles all around.

I'm obsessed with their suits and coordinating ties.

Even though it was Fall, the Arboretum was still lush and green and provided the perfect backdrop for some casual wedding portraits of the grooms.

Taking a few moments to admire their new rings before heading to their backyard reception.

After the ceremony at the Arboretum, the party moved to the grooms' backyard. They celebrated with lots of music, laughs and homemade "pooch hooch", a custom cocktail to honor Matt and Frederick's four (!) adorable corgis.

There was an amazing BBQ dinner under the backyard tent, followed by toasts, dancing, and so much celebrating into the night.

Thank you Matt and Frederick for choosing me to capture your beautiful day, I loved being a part of it!!
